|Borgo Panigale (Bologna, Italy), 20 July 2026 – Following the resounding success of the Centenary edition of World Ducati Week, Ducati returns to the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli with its DRE Academy. With this program, the Borgo Panigale-based manufacturer offers enthusiasts the opportunity to experience memorable days aboard its motorcycles and improve their riding skills through comprehensive courses that combine theory and practice, supported by a team of instructors made up of internationally renowned professional riders.
The DRE Racetrack will be back on track at Misano on September 22nd and 23rd, allowing enthusiasts to experience first-hand the thrill of riding legendary motorcycles like the new Panigale V4 R on the circuit used for the Race of Champions and the San Marino and Rimini Riviera Grand Prix.
With over twenty years of experience behind it and more than 34,000 participants, the DRE program is led by internationally renowned instructors, including MotoGP and Superbike riders. The DRE Racetrack is specifically designed for those with track experience who wish to hone their skills and experience the thrill of riding a Ducati on the MotoGP circuits. Education, fun and adrenaline come together in different courses based on experience levels: Evo, Evo2, Master, and One-to-One.
The star of the DRE Racetrack is, of course, the Ducati Panigale family: the V2 S will accompany participants in the Evo and Evo2 courses, while the V4 S will be the focus of the Master courses. The One-to-One courses are made even more special and exclusive by the bikes used: the Panigale V4 S in the Racing Kit version, or the new Panigale V4 R, the bike that, with Nicolò Bulega and Iker Lecuona, has won every race of the 2026 Superbike World Championship, securing Ducati's twenty-second manufacturer's title at Donington.
Both of these courses continue to offer the winning formula for the 2026 season, featuring expert riders as instructors and the use of action cams. The Master course also features DDL (Ducati Data Logger) data acquisition and a ratio of three students per instructor, offering participants even more comprehensive and dedicated support.
The "One-to-One" courses are designed for those seeking an exclusive experience in every respect. Each participant has a dedicated instructor, a private station in the garage, Open Pit access and a post-session debrief where the images and data collected are analysed to improve the student's performance. All this transforms the day into a true professional journey, allowing each rider to live out their passion for the track without compromise.
The One-to-One course with the new Panigale V4 R MY26 also allows you to discover the supersport road bike born from Ducati's successes in MotoGP and Superbike. The V4 R is the first motorcycle to bring solutions such as Corner Sidepods, an aerodynamic appendage capable of creating ground effect when cornering, and the Ducati Racing Gearbox, the track-specific gearbox that, thanks to Ducati Neutral Lock, eliminates the possibility to engage neutral during sharp downshifts.
By taking part in one of these four experiences, participants will also enjoy a training session as passengers with a qualified DRE instructor, who will conduct track laps to demonstrate the correct lines, braking and acceleration points and various riding techniques. The team of instructors includes professional riders such as Michele Pirro, Karel Abraham, Lorenzo Zanetti, Samuele Cavalieri, Franco Battaini and Davide Stirpe, coordinated by Technical Director Dario Marchetti.
All information on the courses, programmes and registration procedures is available in the dedicated section of the Ducati.com website.
